Do contributors need a WordPress account?
No. Contributors get their own simple login on your event page. They never see your WordPress dashboard.
Is there a monthly fee?
Nope. It runs on your own WordPress site, so there's no monthly fee to keep your events running.
Can I run paid events?
Yes. Choose free or paid for each event. For paid events, paste your checkout link (WarriorPlus, JVZoo, PayPal, Stripe and so on) and set your private gifts page as the delivery page. You can add a VIP upgrade too.
Where do sign-ups go for free events?
Your choice! Save them in WordPress and download a CSV, send them to Zapier or Make with a webhook, or paste in the sign-up form from your email service (Birdsend, AWeber, Kit and others).
Does it depend on email to work?
No. Contributors sign in with a password, and they see their gift's status right on their page. Friendly heads-up emails are a bonus, but nothing breaks if one lands in spam.
What about everyone's different image sizes?
Handled. Gift images and contributor photos are cropped and resized to a matching 600 × 600 automatically, so your grid always looks neat.
Can I control who gets in?
Yes. Every gift waits for your approval before it shows up. You can also limit how many gifts each contributor can add and set the dates for adding gifts.
Will it work with my theme?
It works with modern WordPress (6.0 and newer), was tested with both block themes and classic themes, and looks great on phones.
